CSIR UGC NET Notification 2024

 NTA will released UGC NET notification for the June session exam in the first week of April 2024.The UGC NET June session 2024 is scheduled for June 10 to 21, 2024. UGC chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar announced the UGC NET exam date through his social media account. UGC-NET is conducted twice every year (June & December). In order to regularize the UGC-NET examination cycle, the National Testing Agency (NTA), with the concurrence of UGC is conducting UGC NET December 2023 in 83 subjects, at selected cities across the country. The UGC NET application and notification will be available on the UGC NET official website- ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The NTA released the UGC NET certificate for the December cycle on February 27, 2024. The candidates can download their e-certificate using their application number and date of birth on the official website. the JRF certificate remains valid for 3 years, whereas, the UGC NET certificate is valid for a lifetime. I has on the expert committee's recommendations. in its 578t1' Meeting held on l3 March 2024. the UGC has decided that from the academic session 2024-25. the net- score can be used for admission 1o Ph.D. programme in place of entrance tests conducted by the different universitics/H tlls.

UGC-NET Eligibility 2024

From June 2024 onwards. therefore. the Net candidates will be declared eligible in three categories:

Category-1: Eligible for (i) admission to Ph.D. with JRF and (ii) appointment as Assistant Professor.

Catcgory-2: Eligible for (i) admission to Ph.D without JRF and (ii) appointment as Assistant Professor.

Catcgory-3: Eligible for admission to Ph.D pro only and not for the award of JRF or appointed as Assistant Professor.

UGC-NET EXAMS DATE

Exam date for UGC NET for June 2024 is announced officially by National Testing Agency, it will be held in the Computer Based Test mode with an exam time duration of 03 hours from 10th to 21st June 2024 in two shifts from 09:00 am to 12:00 noon and 03:00 pm to 06:00 pm, reporting time for 1st and 2nd shift is 7:30 am and 1:30 pm, respectively.

UGC-NET 2024 Age Limit

THere is no upper age limit for assistant professor .and Junior Reserch Fellowship (JRF)i is not more then 30 years.

UGC-NET 2024 Apply Online

The candidates who fulfil the UGC NET eligibility criteria must fill out the UGC NET application form through the NTA website. Given below are the steps to fill UGC NET Application Form June 2024:

Step 1 : Visit the website of NTA- ugcnet.nta.nic.in

Step 2 : Click on the ‘Application form’ link mentioned on the bottom of the home page

Step 3 : Click on ‘New Registration’ to apply for UGC NET for the first time.

Step 4 :  Enter the required details and complete the registration

Step 5 : Fill out the complete application form by entering other necessary details. 

Step 6 : Upload scanned pictures of passport size photo (10-200 kb) and signature (4-30 kb) in JPEG format

Step 7 : Pay the UGC NET application fee as per your category.

Step 8 : Save and submit the form and do not forget to download the confirmation page
